The most exciting part of our week was the trip to the oral surgeon. Fun. Ha. Well, Greg on Valium was a bit amusing. Greg was nervous about the surgery -- this was the first time he was going to be "knocked out". Turns out - he did just fine. The doctor did the IV, asked a few questions and the next thing Greg knew, he woke up in a recliner chair with an ice pack strapped to his head. The surgery itself was quick - just over 30 minutes from when he left the front of the office until they called me back to sit with him. I sat in a chair next to him for about an hour while he finished the saline IV and roused from sleep.
Then, once home, I had to change the icky gauze things in his mouth for the next couple of hours since Greg's cheeks, lips and tongue were numb. Ewwww. The things we do for love. :-)
This weekend was nice and relaxing. Actually - we didn't do much of anything. Slept in both days, watched some football and just took it easy. It was a great treat.
