After a challenging Saturday, Atticus has been pulling out the charm for me the past 48 hours. This is good because on Saturday, I was ready to return him for a different model.
Tonight, we had a verbal breakthrough of sorts. At dinner, Atti was asking for "more". We asked more what and he replied "milk". I repeated, "more milk" and he said it after me "more milk". Together. One sentence. No pause. This was exciting stuff for our house.
And then tonight as I was giving him a hug and saying goodnight, I swear I heard a mumble/jumbled "love you".
Awwwww, my heart melted a little.
