Going back to the fact that there was no walk-through when we moved in here...
The fact that the pulls to change the speed of the ceiling fans are broken. Of the FOUR fans in the house, only ONE has both a working light switch pull and a working fan speed pull. And that ONE fan is in the kitchen by the fridge. The fans in the living room, A's room and in our bedroom are either on or off.
The blinds are terrible. Thank goodness our housekeeper has been able to get most of the grime off of them -- but at least half of them lack working wands to open/close them, or they pull in all sorts of crazy directions when you attempt to raise them.
First world problems, I know... but it's driving me nuts today.
I'd really love to put the fan on low in the living room to move some air -- possibly from an open window, but that is impossible.
My other grievance of the day you ask? I emailed out lawn care company requesting that 31 July be our final date of service. I then included a written note in the last payment envelope requesting that 31 July be our final date of service. Today, the lawn care company showed up and mowed the lawn again.... G'ahhh...
Ok, done whining.... off to do something more productive.
