While Jen is usually the one to post on the blog, I'm stepping in temporarily while she is resting.
The title says it all - Baby Baden chose to join us today, July 20, 2008, instead of waiting for the August 7, 2008 due date.
All of those that had their money on "boy," please see the cashier at the window for your winnings.
Basic info - born at 1:01 PM CDT, 21 inches, 7 lbs 11 oz. We are still deciding on a name.
These are a few pictures - more details and pictures to follow. Jen did fantastic throughout the process and both are resting comfortably.

I had money on a baby boy - I have a system for guessing whether it's a boy or a girl and I'm right 50% of the time ;-)

I am THRILLED to get the news! Jen, you look entirely too good to have just given birth. You make this whole labor and delivery thing look too easy.
Baby Baden just couldn't wait to meet mommy and daddy, huh?! He is quite a big boy for his early arrival. So glad to hear that everyone is doing well. Can't wait to see more pics - he's a BEAUTIFUL baby!
