Go, Go, Go

This is Atti's new motto. Now that he's figured out that he can walk... we can't stop him. It's literally go, go, go from the moment he wakes up until his tired little keppe hits the crib at night. On the plus side - I think all this go, go, go is making him tired which has helped with the sleeping issues.

I think perhaps he's growing as well. The little man has been chowing down on everything for the past few days. Last night, on the drive back to Austin, we stopped at IHOP for dinner. We figured it was better than fast food for the adults, and it gave us a few options for Atticus. Well... little man ate an entire pancake and a couple of scrambled eggs this after nursing AND snacking while waiting for the food. Today, just at lunch, he chowed through half a pint of raspberries (this kid is going to turn into a raspberry), some cantaloupe, a few cherries, some grapes, some baguette, a few handfuls of cereal, and a Gerber toddler sized Mac-n-Cheese! All this - not to mention the snacks that Andrea gave him!

Tonight after work we took a walk outside. Atticus is still in the Robeez shoes - so he can work on his balance, but he's doing fantastic. The lumpy bumpy sidewalk gave him a bit of trouble, but I think all in all it was a good evening outside. No skinned knees, no bruised anythings (that I'm aware of). We were only outside about 10 minutes but Atti's cheeks were already getting flushed, so we headed back indoors. I'm ready for this crazy 100+ degree weather to break!

Not much else. I've got to go, go, go myself.... I need to water the flowers outside before heading to bed!
