In This Corner

Weighing in at 16 lbs 1 oz, standing 26 inches - Atticus Henry.

He's still measuring in the 75-90% percentile for both height and weight. Dr. Owens says that it may taper out a bit by his 6 month checkup -- meaning he may move to the 60-75% percentile group. But, no guarantee. Apparently, he's doing great. Dr. Owens was impressed that he's rolling back to belly so often -- apparently that's less common than belly to back, especially for "large" babies. Atti has a method though... he grasps his hands together, lifts his legs to a 90 degree angle then rolls to the side. A slight straightening of the legs and a push of the tush and he's over to the belly. He will happlily show off this new move to anyone that comes to the house. :-)

He received two more immunizations today, the second set of the ones he received at 2 months. Rotavirus and HIB. The Rotavirus was a liquid which he managed to get about half down - the other half drooled all down his shirt. (Hopefully he got enough...) The shot in the leg was the second half, which went quickly. There was a few moments of screaming - but since we were already past nap time and the exhaustion was setting in - the paci seemed to work and he drifted off to sleep by the time we'd checked out and walked to the car.

We're waiting to hear if we're meeting up with my cousin Sarah for lunch and then this afternoon we're headed to the post office to complete the passport application process. My baby's going to be a world traveller!

Ok, well I'm going to try and get a little work-work in while Atticus is napping.
