Our gate was just outside the subway exit:
Atti was a champ, sitting in our laps and watching the game. The only time he got upset was when a home run was hit and the stadium went wild cheering. That was a bit much for him. I do have to say however that for all the new technology and the fancy screen, yada yada -- the team doesn't do a very good job of showing replays on the big screen, or showing the little graphic that lets you know what bases are occupied, etc. Odd I thought.
Hanging out with Daddy
Towards the bottom of the third inning, top of the fourth - I was bouncing Atticus on my knee and he just crashed out. We laid him across our laps and he slept for the remainder of the game. We left before the end of the game since the Yankees were kicking Texas's tush!! All in all, a great first baseball game for little man. We still have plans to make it to a Mets game too, and I'm sure another Yankees game will be in the cards before the summer is over!
Before he fell asleep, he was chewing on the top of my beer bottle... which, I admit, looks a little funny. :-)
